get more involved

We are always keen to have more members involved. If you can help in any way please get in touch.

We are happy for members to come up with ideas for and hold events to raise awareness of any relevant issue on a one off basis, as well as take a more long term role to help with day to day stuff.

Roles we would particularly like some help with at the moment are:

Digital skills : If you are good with WordPress you might like to help with our website.

Writing or journalism skills : Writing content for social media and press releases as well as for leaflets when we are campaigning.

If you think you could help with one or more of these things, or there is another skill you would like to offer please contact us.

hubs

Because South Norfolk is such a large area we have decided to roughly divide it into 3 sections so we can keep activities more local to where members live.

The 3 hubs are :

North West – Wymondham and surrounding areas – Joe Barrett co-ordinates this group

North East– Poringland, Rockland etc – Claire Sparkes co-ordinates this group

South West– Diss, Bressingham and surrounding areas west of A140 – Hilary Hardy co-ordinates this group

South East– Harleston, Ditchingham and surrounding areas east of A140

So far there have been informal ‘get togethers’ such as a walk, a visit to a local pub or cake round a local members house. Issues relevant to the local area may be discussed and people can share contacts and information about groups they are active in or other useful stuff.

You may want to attend socials/meetings in more than one area which is fine.

Please send a message via our Contact page if you would like to know more about the hub in your area.
